MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – After drawing a record-breaking crowd at Hard Rock Stadium and setting a new standard for broadcast viewership of a U.S. Formula One race, Sports Business Journal named Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix the Best New Event of 2022.
Last year, the event drew the 2.6 million viewers on ABC, the largest live audience for a Formula One race telecast in national TV history.
“We are excited to bring back the Formula One Miami Grand Prix to Miami Gardens for year two,” Tyler Epp, President of the F1 Miami Grand Prix shared. “In hosting a record-breaking event this past May, the anticipation towards next year’s race has been tremendous.”
Along with all the on-track action, fans can soak up an incredible atmosphere featuring luxury VIP hospitality spaces, gourmet local cuisine, and a 19-turn circuit known as the Miami International Autodrome.
The Miami Grand Prix 2023 is set to take place on Sunday, May 7.
