The quest for this year’s FIA Formula 1 World Championship intensified following an exciting battle under the floodlights on the streets of Singapore, where McLaren’s Lando Norris took the podium position at the Singapore Grand Prix.
Norris dominated on the streets of the Lion City to close the gap by just 52 points with six races to go, reducing the advantage of league leader Max Verstappen. Red Bull’s primary driver has yet to win a race since the Spanish Grand Prix back in June.
McLaren is also flying in the Constructors’ Championship, leading Red Bull by 41 points. McLaren has overtaken Red Bull in contention for the crown for the first time in 25 years – a remarkable turnaround for a team that some ranked as slowest in the league just 18 months ago.
Since securing his first Formula 1 win in Miami in May 2024, Norris has been Verstappen’s closest challenger, taking an additional two victories in pursuit of the Dutchman. Join the papaya passion and excitement at the McLaren Grandstand at the 2025 Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix!
