Max Verstappen etched himself in Formula 1 history after extending his undefeated streak to ten straight victories following his recent Italian Grand Prix victory.
The history-making win marks the first time any F1 driver has tallied ten victories in a row. The Red Bull driver remains undefeated since his victory at the 2023 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.
“I never would’ve believed that was possible,” Verstappen shared.
Verstappen was met with challenges in Monza, with the Dutchman eclipsing Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz, who entered Sunday’s race at pole position.
Red Bull continues to remain undefeated during the 2023 F1 season, with Verstappen taking victory in 12 of the 14 races and teammate Sergio Perez winning the remaining two races in Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan.
Verstappen now leads the 2023 Formula 1 campaign by 145 points.
